Priorities and Eligibility for KTP

• Following Public Sector Spending Review in Autumn
  2010, KTP focus is now on:
  – Overarching criteria of INNOVATION, IMPACT and
    CHALLENGE.
  – Priority sectors for Sponsors WAG (6 sectors), TSB and
    Research Councils.
• SMEs.
• Large companies are eligible but must demonstrate
  involvement of and impact on SME supply chain.

Role of Advisers

• Promote KTP to academia and business in a given
  region.
• Advise and support application process.
• Manage a portfolio of KTPs.
• Provide support and guidance through Local
  management Committee (LMC) which meets 3 times
  a year.
• Oversee compliance with KTP aims and rules.
• Report to TSB.
• Final reporting evaluation.
