• We all grow up,get bigger and change in size !, But do we change in shape ?
• You get bigger and taller and your hair gets longer , but you still look the same .

Life cycle : the change that happens to an organism through
it’s life.

 Stage 1 : the egg
 The butterfly life cycle starts with an egg.
 It lays it’s egg on the underside of a leaf.

 Stage 2 :the larva.
 The egg hatches and a larva comes out.
 The larva eats plant leaves to grow.
 The butterfly larva is called caterpillar.

 The caterpillar forms a hard cover around itself.
 In this stage the butterfly is inactive (not moving )
 It is now called Pupa.
