Curricular Statement
Through the observation, group discussion and group activity, students
get an awareness about organizing.
Content Analysis
Terms Organizing, organization, division of work,
departmentation, co-ordination, delegation of authority,
specialization, adaptation.
Facts  Organizing means to bring about a good orderly
structure and put into a working order
 Organized group of people in collective sense is
known as organization
 Division of works means total work divided into
various functions or activity.
 Departmentation refers to putting together
activities of a similar nature into large units
 Delegation of authority refers to assignment of
work through others and confering them the
requisite formal power to accomplish the work
assigned.
 Adaptation means the ability to adopt and adjust
the activities
 Co-ordination of the activities of workers in an
enterprise.
Concept Organizing is the process of establishing, effective
authority relationship among the selected workers
persons and work place for the group to work together
efficiently

After usual classroom practice and informal talk, teacher
introduce the topic by asking the following questions :-
 Have you arranged any functions in our school?
 Which are they?
 What are the preparations you made to arrange that
programme?
Presentation
Teacher present a case to the students and ask the
following questions :-
Case:-
We are arranging in endowment award for our school
toppers.
 What are the arrangements we have to make that
functiona successful event
 Why did we made these arrangements?
This discussion helps the students to
identify the meaning of organizing

DEVELOPMENT
To identify the steps in organizing teacher
provide the following situations:-
Eg. Suppose we wish to start a stitchingunit.
 What are the arrangements we have to make?
 For make work easy, what will we do?
 What are the benefits of this grouping?
GROUP DISCUSSION
Teacher divide the class into different group
and ask them to discuss the above situation. Students
start discussion and teacher participate in the
proceeding of each group and facilitate learning
Teacher clarify the doubts if any and
ensure the participation of each and every students in
the discussion. after this teacher ask each group to
present their finding
Students present their points and teacher
refined it and write it on the blackboard
Write it on
their notebook
To organize means to bring about a good orderly

LESSON PLAN Name of the student teacher : Neethu D Name of the school : EVHSS Elamnnur Subject : Business Studies Unit : Organising Standard : Meanings and steps in organising Duration : 45 Minutes Curricular Statement Through the observation, group discussion and group activity, students get an awareness about organizing. Content Analysis Terms Organizing, organization, division of work, departmentation, co-ordination, delegation of authority, specialization, adaptation. Facts  Organizing means to bring about a good orderly structure and put into a working order  Organized group of people in collective sense is known as organization  Division of works means total work divided into various functions or activity.  Departmentation refers to putting together activities of a similar nature into large units
  • 2.  Delegation of authority refers to assignment of work through others and confering them the requisite formal power to accomplish the work assigned.  Adaptation means the ability to adopt and adjust the activities  Co-ordination of the activities of workers in an enterprise. Psycho Motor domain  Has interest towards organization  Has the skill of drawing charts Classroom Interaction Procedure Expected Student Response Introduction (General discussion) After usual classroom practice and informal talk, teacher introduce the topic by asking the following questions :-  Have you arranged any functions in our school?  Which are they?  What are the preparations you made to arrange that programme? Presentation Teacher present a case to the students and ask the following questions :- Case:- We are arranging in endowment award for our school toppers.  What are the arrangements we have to make that functiona successful event  Why did we made these arrangements? This discussion helps the students to identify the meaning of organizing Yes Onam celebration, x’mas celebration For improving efficiency
  • 5. BB  What do you mean by organizing? DEVELOPMENT To identify the steps in organizing teacher provide the following situations:- Eg. Suppose we wish to start a stitchingunit.  What are the arrangements we have to make?  For make work easy, what will we do?  What are the benefits of this grouping? GROUP DISCUSSION Teacher divide the class into different group and ask them to discuss the above situation. Students start discussion and teacher participate in the proceeding of each group and facilitate learning Teacher clarify the doubts if any and ensure the participation of each and every students in the discussion. after this teacher ask each group to present their finding Students present their points and teacher refined it and write it on the blackboard Write it on their notebook To organize means to bring about a good orderly structure and put into working order
