• The AIHRC in the International level is a full
member of the Asia–Pacific Forum (APF)
• The AIHRC has the membership of the
International Coordination Committee of
National Human Rights Institutions (ICC).
• . Committee on Accreditation of (ICC) confirmed
the Grade “A” for the AIHRC in November 2008

7. The following graph shows that during the last three years, the number of illegal prisoners and
detention has had a downward trend:
from 2010 to 2011, 14% from 2011 to 2012 = 39% from 2010 to 2012, 29%

• The AIHRC does not have access to 40 percent of its coverage

2. Illegal
armed groups:
• 616 illegal armed groups are active in Afghanistan
•

traditions:
• Forced marriages, honor killings ….

• In the first eight months of this year, 3095
civilians have been killed and injured

• In the first six months of this year, 4156 cases
of violence against women have been
recorded in the AIHRC
