2. What to post on Facebook page
• A lot of people struggle with this, what to post
on your Facebook timeline/page.
• I mean we all post our what we are trying to
sell like products/services, that’s a no
brainer..but what else?
• Let’s see what other successful small and
medium businesses are doing...

3. If you create something
The process of creation
• Post an image of something which in process
of getting built
– In early stage (with all materials)
– In middle stage (half way through)
– Final stage (product is ready to be shipped)

4. Questions
• Ask genuine questions, for engagement
– Ask about last thing they bought which was
handmade
– Ask about color combinations possibilities
– Ask to send an image of your (or someone else’s)
handmade product, which they have in their
homes
– Ask if you like to see a product in different color

5. Funny Questions
• Ask funny questions as well
– What would you do if you won a million dollars
– What would you do if you are CEO of
Facebook/google for a day

6. A little about yourself
• This is something a lot of Etsians do, but it is
totally fine if you have your reservations
towards this
– Images of your kids around your workspace
– Your pets and they pictures

7. Other funny things
• Share if something makes you laugh – treat
your fans as human beings and share
something that will make them laugh
– It could be a an image, post, video

• The messier the better
– This is where you connect with your fans at very
human level

9. Do it yourself stuff
• This is one of my assumptions that people
who like crafty handmade stuff would
probably love DIY stuff as well,
– you can test it with couple of posts a week and
you will know if your audience like this kinda stuff
or not

• Thank them for liking, commenting, being
your admirer
– This is something which a lot of us forget, we are
all thankful of our fans but we rarely say it
– Say it when you get a chance
