Title Cards
Length of Title Cards
Currently we sit at a stage of pre production so we are yet
to capture footage and fully set where our title cards
should be, plus length of them. We also still need to add
the zoom effect which will feel like a reduction of time as
the cards will be less static. However people did give us
feedback that we need to reduce the amount of time that
a title card is on screen for and make sure it is an
appropriate time for what is on screen.
Colour of Title Card
Our title cards are designed to have a gradient on them
between two near identical colours, however one of our
cards has an effect that is two different colours, for the
simple reason we ran out of options for a block colour.
Our audience feedback on this was negative as people
said it was too different from the rest of the cards. While
we cannot change the colour of the title card; to give the
title card a more planned effect we will use it as the last
coloured title card, which gives a feel of ‘progression’ to
the colours.
Effects Used on Title Cards
Overall, the audience feedback showed that people did
enjoy the cards we have produced and said the groupings
of effects used does in fact create the style of dirty and
unclean title cards that we wanted produce. This is
positive for us as it means we are meeting the plus points
of our research and creating the best possible product for
our viewers and target audience.
