Mobile Marketing Strategy
Strategy is a plan of action designed to achieve a long-term or overall aim.
A mobile marketing strategy is not so much different from any other
marketing strategy it requires an understanding of the business objectives
you’re trying to achieve, determining which marketing tactics you’ll use to
achieve those objectives, and measuring those tactics to see what works.

Who are the customers?
 Customers of mobile marketing messages are subsets of the existing and
potential customer base of the product.
Where are the customers?
 One of the biggest strengths of mobile marketing is location specificity.
With the evolution of GPS technologies, mobile devices are location aware
and that is a boon (helpful or beneficial) for marketing managers.
Advertising is directed at a target market to enhance or change a behavior.
What is the message?
 The message is largely determined by the overall marketing strategy for the
product, as to whether it is a “high consumer involvement” or “low
consumer involvement” product. This attribute will determine whether the
message should be informational or emotional.

How to reach the customer?
 Mobile advertising, short message service (SMS) advertising is the most
prominent methodology applied to reach customers through push strategy.
 Blue tooth advertising is a pull strategy of marketing and requires
passwords to be entered for users to interact with the providers thus
addressing some security concerns.
When to communicate with the customer?
 The question of “when” is better addressed by the purpose of the marketing
strategy. If the strategy is to deliver CRM, then an interactive model to
address the needs of the customers is designed. In the case of promotions,
timing of mobile campaigns is determined by the purchasing habits of the
customer (Leppaniemi & Karajauto, 2004).

How to Create a Mobile Marketing Strategy
 While preparing a mobile marketing strategy you need to bear following
things in mind
Three fundamentals for building strong mobile marketing strategies are:
1. Know your audience
2. Know your business objective
3. Know the best mobile marketing channel
1) Know your audience:
 Know how the audience uses their mobile to know your brand. Each one
uses their mobile phone for a different purpose.
2) Know your business objective:
 Knowing your business objective is very important. It will help you create
an engaging app for your users. Your mobile strategy should fulfill the
business objective and have a wider audience.

3) Know the best mobile marketing channel:
 Know which channel of mobile marketing is the best for your audience.

Mobile marketing strategies techniques
There are various types and techniques of mobile marketing strategies.
1) Advertisement for specific Mobile device through Google Ad word.
2) Must Launch Mobile apps or create responsive sites.
3) Mobile App advertisement through Google Mobile App Campaigns.
4) Advertisement through Face book for mobile devices.
5) Advertisement in between a mobile app or game.
6) Use SMS services for business management
7) Share video, image, and slideshow of your websites to your customer.
8) Sharing push notification for advertising and marketing
