Do you buy or sell goods online with strangers? Well, here's our quick guide on how to use REPP to make those interactions safer and more comfortable.
Create your own free REPP Profile at https://myrepp.com
3. Find Out Who You’re
Dealing With
When you meet a potential buyer or seller online, you gotta find out more about them. You
don’t want a shirtless dude with a couple armed robberies coming over to your house to buy
that couch (or maybe you do), and you probably don’t want to go to a pedophiles house to
buy some games.
!
REPP can help you find out more about them without you having to do anything besides
requesting they REPP Profile.
!
4. 1) Create a REPP Profile at myREPP.com (it’s free)
7. 4) Fill out “To,” “From,” “Subject” and a “Message”
8. 5) Click “Request Their Profile” and choose what you want to see from them. You can ask
to see their social media channels, their profile photo, and their background check, if you
want.
9. 6) Click “Send Message.” They’ll get an email that will include your request and they can
share their REPP Profile, if they have one, or they can create one and share it back to you.
10. 7) Their shared profile may look like this, giving you more information to make a better
decision.
11. Communicate Safely
With A Stranger
The last thing you want a total stranger having is your personal email address. So, your
option - create a junk email account - but that’s time consuming, requires you to remember
to check it, and probably has billions of other downside.
!
REPP can quickly and easily solve that through your REPP Email Alias, which is included
for every user.
14. 3) Fill out the “To” field (you can even post a Craigslist email address here). Then
when you click on “From” you can choose what type of name you want the viewer to
see and what email address you want to use - your personal one or your email alias.
15. 4) Optional - You can include your REPP Profile (Remember your name will be shown - so
make sure you Preview it) and you can include a request for their REPP Profile as well
18. 7) They can respond back to this email and it will come right to your REPP Messages,
and we’ll let you know that it’s there. You can go back and forth and never have to hand
over your real email address.
