Celebrating the 400th Anniversary of the AIC
- 2. IT ALL BEGAN in Châtillon
- 3. 400 YEARS AGO… SVP realised three very important things: • Lots of people living in poverty required urgent help • There were lots of people who were ready to help • It was necessary to organise the help
- 4. Saying yes to the call of Christ on this path... He changed his life and the lives of many other people.
- 5. SVP became in this way a coordinator of lay people in the service of the most vulnerable. He gave us an excellent example and we try to follow him.
- 6. How are we going to celebrate these 400 years of charitable action?

BEING OPEN and SHARING As AIC volunteers we should all be conscious of the fact that our Association has been, since 1617, an antidote to poverty; the celebration of our 400th Anniversary is therefore a cause for great joy. So let’s not forget to open up the doors of our hearts to share with those who would like to join this wonderful work.
- 12. Let’s invite lots of other people... To build a more charitable, more fraternal and fairer world…

- 19. Example: Promotional Material Recipe Books (printed or electronique) 2015 – 2016 Recipes of Charity “Recipes of Charity”. The book could contain recipes from the 53 member countries and opposite each recipe there could be a photo illustrating the work being carried out in that country or some interesting information about the work.

- 23. Probably during the entire jubilee year… Pilgrimages to Paris and Châtillon Special celebrations in Châtillon
- 24. In 2017… International Assembly in Châtillon From 12th to 15th March With 400 participants To speak first and foremost about the charism that our founders have passed on to us
- 25. We invite all of AIC… In every country, in every group of the Vincentian Family, in every team... And with our less fortunate brothers and sisters May our celebrations be huge!!!
