  Study Island is an excellent choice to assist
  students with cognitive disabilities. Study
  Island offers many subjects.
  For math specifically, students take diagnostic
  (pre-tests) assessments to find their ability
  level. All games, lessons, and tests are
  formatted for their ability level.
For students that have low
vision this is the perfect
calculator for math class.
The calculator itself is large
AND it talks! Students can
keep up with calculations
without problems.

  • 3. Click picture to connect directly to site. Study Island is an excellent choice to assist students with cognitive disabilities. Study Island offers many subjects. For math specifically, students take diagnostic (pre-tests) assessments to find their ability level. All games, lessons, and tests are formatted for their ability level.
  • 4. For students that have low vision this is the perfect calculator for math class. The calculator itself is large AND it talks! Students can keep up with calculations without problems.
  • 5. Closed Captioning for Videos Used in Class Students are not left out during video portions of lessons.
  • 6. For students that are hard of hearing this FM amplification system can increase the teacher’s voice level or amplify TV and video. Hard of Hearing students won’t miss any important words or information.
  • 7. JAWS Screen Reader reads what is on the screen to the user. For students with vision problems the screen reader allows them to participate in regular class activities.
  • 8. Teacher creates or uses lessons to meet the students needs and cover content. Engages students in lessons created online. Gives students ownership of their learning activities and motivates them to perform.
