and 2 people that
decided it was time to
end bullying
produced the story
that no one will ever
forget.
2. HOW IT STARTED

normal everyday boy wore a pink polo shirt to
school. For the rest of the day, bullies harassed
him and called him a homosexual.

Thetwo people who started pink day
are David Shepherd and Travis Price.
They are actually very young, they are
two grade 12 students from Nova Scotia.
4. THE NEXT DAY
The next day Two Grade 12 boys also in Nova
Scotia heard about the problem and decided
to put a stop to it and started the “sea of
pink” They bought 50 pink shirts (including
tank tops) from their local discount store and
handed them out at school that day.
5. WHAT IT STARTED
Now, every year, children and grown
ups stand up to bully's on a certain
week every year. This includes kids
from all over the globe. Its pink day,
and every year now Thousands of
people now wear pink on a certain
week.
6. Campaigns
Pink day has lead to many other
campaigns and other attempts to stop
bullying. For example, pink day has
lead to the SPEAK UP program, the
international STAND UP to bullying
day, GRIN and other anti bullying
campaigns.
7. The T-shirts
The pink day t-shirt frenzy has grown
HUGE, and now countless stores sell pink
t-shirts. They are available online, and in
