◦ Description: This is a video on the growth of the Nation. It is a 10 minute animated video
that gets students familiar with the early growth of the United States. Online learning is a
great way to incorporate technology in the classroom and to get students excited
about learning.

◦ Description: Virtual tours are very useful because it allows students to see places or
events that they might not be able to see in person. The example link leads to a
website with a plethora of virtual tours. One that I thought was interesting was a virtual
tour of a dairy farm. Virtual tours can be used in several subject areas and grade levels.

◦ Description: There are many places to find lesson plans online. The internet is a great
