Native Americans did work together through
trading surplus items (corn, bison, pottery,
etc.)
Native American celebrations and ceremonies
had different purposes. Some honored nature,
some were for special occasions like potlatches,
and some were religious ceremonies.
Native Americans passed on traditions and
customs through oral language, practice, or
folklore. Many customs involved the
relationship they had with nature.
