- Ours is a global society where we can no longer teach or learn in isolation – the library is no longer just a place
- Our job IS information – use us
- We want to help you work smarter, not harder. You can do this by brainstorming project ideas and teaching strategies with us – we can guide you to the best resources, teaching tools and online productivity tools (like Googledocs, easybib, one note). You can also provide consistency in your research expectations by requiring your students to use a variety of resources (other than Google or wikipedia) and citing those sources as well as encouraging them to evaluate their research selections. These simple expectations have far-reaching implications for every teacher in the building when students understand they are being held to the same standards across all disciplines.
