mercyandforgavehimhissin.Therefore,

forthesinofAdamandrejectsthe
conceptoforiginalsin.
Wecannotdenythattheconditionof
womenhasattimesbeenregrettablein

51. BROTHERHOODANDEQUALITYOF
MANKIND
Islamteachesthatthehumanfamilyis
one,thatthereisnosuperiorityofwhite
overblackorblackoverwhite.Islam
rejectsradicallyallnotionsofracial
prejudiceandteachesthattheonlybasis
ofdistinctionbetweenhumanbeingsis
theirbeliefandindividualmoral

TheconceptofIslamicbrotherhoodhas
twoprimarydimensions;the
relationshipofMuslimstoMuslimsand
therelationshipofMuslimstonon-

"jihad"isoneofthehighestconceptsin
Islam.Thetermhasattimesbeen
translatedas"HolyWar".However,this
translationisincompleteforjihadalso
meansbylanguage"struggling."Itisa
conceptthatplacesgreatemphasisonthe
struggleofoneselfwiththetemptations
