1. Let‘s make a Slovenian flower with children:
RED CARNATION

2. Materials:
 A pair of scissors
 A pair of tongs
 Glue
 A peace of green paper
 A role of red crepe paper
 A role of green crepe paper
 A peace of wire (a kind of
wire that you can easily
form and shape-soft one)

3. Procedure: 1.
1.We cut of a peace of
red crepe paper…
2…. and cut it like you see on this picture.
3. We’ve got a shape like this….

4. 4.….now we role it together …. 5…and in the end we glue it together so it doesn’t fall
apart!

6. We curl the paper with scissors and the flower blossom is ready
6. 7. We cut a peace of wire
and green crepe paper;
we wrap double peace of
wire with green crepe
paper to make a flower
stalk.

5. 8. 8. We put already made stalk
into the flower and we fix it
so we wrap a peace of green
crepe paper and we glue it 10.

From the green peace of paper we
cut out two leaves.
We wrap the whole flower from
the blossom down with green
crepe paper and at that time we
add also leaves like shown on
pictures.

Our red carnation flower is
made!
