Weight 50 g of homogeneous and ground sample.
Add 10 g of NaCl.
Add 250 ml Methanol-water solution 70:30.
Shake 3 minutes.
Filter.
Dilute the extract 1:7 in water.

The mean relative signal was 89±6%.
By subtracting 2 standard deviations, a cut off was set at
76%, corresponding to 0.025 ppm.
The same samples were spiked at 0.025 ppm T2 toxin.
One determination up to twenty turned to be negative.
The Limit of Quantification (LOQ) was set at 0.025 ppm.
The sensitivity turned to be 95%.

Summary
10 blank samples of feed for pigs were implemented to study the
possible difference to the poultry ones. Their mean B/Bo was 77± Feed cut-off: 0.047 ppm
11%. This experiment confirmed the cut-off at 59% B/Bo. Feed LOQ: 0.050 ppm
