Carta Editorial Over three decades of a successful history, approaching the market using an elegant, subtle, classic and distinct language, creating an impeccable impression.
LUIS CARTA was son of an  Italian journalist GIANINO CARTA, editor of the leading Brazilian daily O Estado de S. Paulo. Before the foundation of  Carta Editorial, LUIS CARTA was one of the EditoraAbril’s pillars, in the late sixties, for having created and edited the most read and most profitable magazines in the country. LUIS CARTA, a magazine expert, with the launch of Carta Editorial, proved the impossible at that moment: there was a market for high end magazines, with differentiated graphic design, modern  and photographic quality rarely seen in the Brazilian publishing market. Invited by Condé Nast, LUIS CARTA moved to Spain where he was victorious with the mission of launching Spanish Vogue. Leaving in charge of Carta Editorial his son ANDREA CARTA, responsible for the expansion of  the company by launching new titles and supplements. When Andrea died prematurely in 2003, PATRICIA CARTA - then fashion editor of RevistadaFolha, the country’s largest newspaper – assumed the company´s management and has been conducting it since then. She is esponsible for the increase in circulation and revenue of existing  titles, for the expansion of custom publishing and development of content digitalization.
