People are stuck with it b/c IT teams won’t let them upgrade or their computer is too old to run the newer browsers.
Still has a lot of coverage. Some sites are seeing upwards of 25% of their traffic from IE6.

Syr.edu: 58% IE - of that, 25% ie 6 - almost 15% of total visitors
What should we do for client work? Is hacking for IE6 a waste of time?

Grab Andy’s stylesheets and serve up a stripped down site for IE6
Provide education and tools to help users get off IE 6.
So what should we do? Combined approach? Is it better to push forward with things like the stripped down site so people will notice that they are not having the best experience?
