certain overall impressions or feelings about the

When the group devotes itself to its task in purposeful

complete disagreement regarding the topic
to be discussed, decisions to be made, or
action to be taken, or members will be
antagonistic toward each other.
7. When the group pursue a topic other than the significant topic
affecting the group or engages in horseplay or a bull session as
a means of avoiding the real task at hand (w/c may be
threatening or unpleasant) the group atmosphere may be the
one of flight. Flight means to run away from the problem
When pressures are felt w/c may be due to limited
time, conflict between personally, threatening topics ,
resistance or blocking of some members, etc. the
atmosphere may be tense. The inability to move or
accomplish the perceived task may be frustrating.
