Strong track record with high user adoption 100% staff adoption (varying levels) Learning Gateway established with students as the third pillar in their Revision Gateway During two recent snow days 94% of staff and 86% of students logged in to the Learning Gateway 89% of parents have access to the Parent Gateway
Why is their a problem with user adoption? 5 Thoughts
5 common reasons for poor user adoption The school use the term ‘VLE’ excessively and indiscriminately. ,[object Object]
Perhaps the most damaging word for Online learning as it is hugely misunderstood.,[object Object]
Over sell by Government of what technology could do.,[object Object]
Teachers see a learning platform as a technology purchase and not a teaching and learning tool.,[object Object]
Really important to take people with you but without content why would you go to a website?,[object Object]
I am worried about web 3.0…
