16. Goal: Maximize points by putting pieces in your hoop. Each colored foam piece is worth 100 points and each coin is worth 1000. Each team has its own types of pieces that create their score: Hoop #1 needs blue, purple and coin resources Hoop #2 needs red, green, and coin resources Hoop #3 needs blue, purple, green and red resources. The rules for the activity are: 1) Once the center hoop is empty, any of the other hoops may be assessed. 2) The pieces must be carried, one at a time , to the hoops. 3) Hoops cannot be guarded. (No pushing, blocking, etc.) 4) You will have 10 minutes to maximize your scores. 5) Pieces that you do not need in your hoop will be removed before scoring results.

Finding Balance Rules - Place the PVC cap on the table and place one nail into the hole in the PVC cap. - The task is to balance all the other nails on the head of the one nail stuck in the PVC cap. - When balanced the nails must be completely self-supporting (i.e., the nails may not be touching or resting on any object) . - The group may not use any other props or materials – Besides the one PVC cap with the hole and the nails (no tape, glue, rubber bands, etc.) - Turning the PVC cap upside down or on its side is not allowed. The nail must remain upright at all times.
