5. Our Sun is huge, many thousands of times bigger than Earth.
Because it is so big it has very powerful Gravity. It is the Sun's Gravity
that keeps the Earth and all the planets from flying off into space!
The first person to discover gravity is Isaac Newton. He discovered
gravity when he dropped an apple from a tree. In space there is no
gravity because there is no gravitational pull from a planet.
