2. Look at your mock up
Have you included :
• the title?
• the names of the actors?
• a large image?
• a tagline?
• a credit block
• a release date?
• decisions about colours/
costume?
Does it show conventions
of teen movies that you
studied for the essay?
3. Use Publisher to make your posters
• Choose a blank A4 template
• Position your photo to cover the whole page.
• Make sure the person/people in the photo take up
most of the page
Too small
Much better
4. Use Word Art to create the title
• Then use Word Art tools to fill the text and
outline and change the font
• Because it is Word Art you can change the size
easily
5. Put your title onto your poster
School’s Out
This title is made in a text box and doesn’t
have impact
This title is made in Word Art
and can be stretched to fit the
space available
6. Add a credit block
(can use the
internet – Google
images – or make
your own in the
same style as)
7. Actor’s Names
• Again – make these in
Word Art but don’t choose
a fancy WordArt shape!
• Make sure they are bold
and clear.
