Tenses
There are three main types of tenses
Present
Past
Future
Present
 A tense expressing an action that is currently
going on or habitually performed, or a state that
currently or generally exists.
 "I'm using the present tense“
 Present tense is divided into four
categories
1. Indefinite
2. Continuous
3. Perfect
4. Perfect Continuous
Past
 Tense expressing an action that has happened or a
state that previously existed.
 "the story is told in the past tense"
 Past tense is divided into four categories
1. Indefinite
2. Continuous
3. Perfect
4. Perfect Continuous
Future
 A tense expressing an action that has not yet
happened or a state that does not yet exist.
 "the dialect does not have a past or future tense"
 Future tense is divided into four categories
