Last academic degrees
Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering “Electronics Engineering and Electrical
Communications”: Faculty of Engineering – AinShams University, Cairo, Egypt, 2015.
Thesis title: Multi-Antenna Solutions for Long Term Evolution (LTE) Advanced.
Thesis Summary:
This thesis presents an antenna system design which can be used in LTE-Advanced
applications. Initially, describe the analysis, design and fabrication of the single element
microstrip antenna. Then using the designed single-element antenna, a two - element MIMO has
been built employing different decoupling methods based on various mechanisms for enhancing
the isolation between the microstrip elements. Finally, using the designed single-element antenna,
a four-element MIMO antenna system which is supported by LTE-Advanced uplink frequency
band has been designed and fabricated using thin film and photolithographic technique.
