Notas do Editor
Currently Medting is in early stage development. Through networking consultations, Medting achieved pilot projects with several organizations of varying form including: University of Geneva, Catelonia Health Ministry, Hospital Clinic (Barcelona), Heilderberg University, King Fahad Medical City, and Optomed Ltd. Medting’s current enterprise contracts are with USP Hospitals Group, (31 hospitals and clinics), Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Medicine Faculty in Madrid), Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University), and Temos (5 facility pilot). Customer acquisition is through senior team contacts as Medting has focused on demonstrating the viability of the product as well as the business model for distribution. Our plans for sales expansion embrace three strategies: 1) Lead generation through senior team networking and attendance at trade shows, 2) Lead generation through targeted marketing to hospital groups and academic medical centers, and 3) Channel sales through development of resellers and distributors (e.g., vendors [Optomed]). Medting chose this sales strategy after considering models used by similarly priced and positioned products (e.g., VisualDx). * Case Study available
