    WHAT ARE NOUNS?
Let’s to build the concept of noun:

 Nouns / Sustantivos : are

How do you classify the nouns?
     How many groups of nouns are there?

Nouns of Nouns of Nouns of Nouns of Nouns of
Singular and Plural Nouns.
   Sustantivos Singulares y Plurales.

We make plural nouns following these rules:
1. Nouns ending in ch, sh, and x, add es.
   Example:
   match – matches / dish – dishes / box -
    boxes.
2. Nouns ending in vowel , add es to the noun.
   Example:
   apple – apples / umbrella – umbrellas.
3. When the noun ends in consonant, add es. Example:
   car – cars / house – houses / school – schools
Exercise: Write the plural of these nouns. Complete the
  chart.

     radio                   mother
     pencil                  father
    bicycle                  bus
  computer                   book
      day                    folder
     night                   window
      boy                    student
      girl                   teacher
4. When the noun ends in Y, change the letter Y by the
   letter i, and add es.
  Example: butterfly – butterflies / fly – flies.
  Exercise : Add the plural to these nouns.
  sky : _________ lady: _________         candy: _________
  bunny: _________ story: _________       puppy: _________
  baby: __________ library: ________

5. There are some nouns that change the writing when we
   form the plural. These nouns are called : Irregular
   nouns.
   Example: man – men / woman – women / child –
   children / wife - wives

Add s or es to these nouns/ Agrega s o es a
