Formally JMiller Company.
A closely-held private company
since their inception, Miller
Gasket has provided die- and
laser-cut manufactured services
for forty plus years.
A dated, staid corporate look
and feel and a need to better
communicate their high-tech
capabilities and niche laser-
based services was our cue…
First, we changed their name
and presentation in the market-
place from JMiller Co. to a more
descriptive: Miller Gasket.
Then we created a fresh line of
corporate sales materials and
an advanced on-line presence
including a password-protected
customer area and robust cus-
tom product quoting tool.
To ensure that the marketplace
receives the new Miller Gasket
message, we installed a data-

A 40-year-old tool and die
manufacturing firm suffering from
a dated corporate identity need-
ed to distinguish themselves in
their marketplace. The transfer of
ownership to a Trio veteran of
twenty years, combined with that
individual’s desire to create
impact in the marketplace was
the perfect place for us to start.
The creation and implementation
of a new corporate identity,
production of a fresh line of cor-
porate sales materials and a
strong on-line presence helped

OSTERBAUER COMPRESSOR…
This air compressor equipment &
services firm founded in 1934 had
relied on repeat business almost
exclusively for new revenue.
When the economy tightened
growth became flat. There was
no emphasis on, nor resources
allocated to new business devel-
opment and what little they had
in marketing materials portrayed
them as dated.
Our analysis revealed a company
with tremendous value but one
that did a poor job of communi-
cating that to their marketplace.
We created new, strong market-
ing materials positioning
Osterbauer as the market leader.
We also identified and created
five new business units that
opened up numerous new
opportunities.

A Detroit-based automotive
design and engineering firm with
a storied past and a bright future
in motorsports racing.
The organization, originally named
ECS/Roush for Engine Control
Systems and the last name of
the founder, Jack Roush, did
not portray their organization
or true capabilities.
We changed their name from
ECS/Roush to Roush Industries
and created and implemented
a series of business units
that helped better define and
focus on key service areas in
this strong and under-stated
organization.
The creation and implementation
of their new corporate identity
helped ‘Roush’ turn the corner
on their competition and obtain
expansive growth in their
marketplace.
Roush Industries continues to

ACSCO PRODUCTS
An engineering and manufactur-
ing firm that provides custom
trim, emblem and illumination
components for the automotive
industry. Originally seeking minor
changes to an un-impactful
website, we saw it differently.
To help better define their offer-
ings, we created and branded
multiple business units that bet-
ter communicate their expertise
and capabilities. The design and
development of offline sales and
marketing materials aimed at
specific industries positioned
them not only for opportunities in
existing markets but unrealized
markets as well.
We also produced completely
separate websites to clearly
communicate the capabilities of
each of the business units and
industries served. The design

A spin-off start-up company
manufacturing security rapid clo-
sure door systems, the principals
of Doorgate lacked the ability to
create a marketing strategy that
would assure their success.
We had the unique opportunity
to help them start off on the
right foot.
The creation of a solid corporate
identity helped instill confidence
and build credibility from the
start. We further helped define
their core competencies and
capabilities through full corpo-
rate/product development litera-

This Southern California based
civil engineering firm had been
successful in the residential
market for nearly 60 years. But as
the market changed, they found
themselves struggling with an
outdated corporate image and
the inability to attract new
business from commercial and
non-residential markets.
The project commenced with the
creation of a bold new corporate
identity that communicated their
experience, industry knowledge
and advanced surveying technol-
ogy. Next, an image/capabilities
corporate brochure, industry spe-
cific literature and case studies

Royal Manufacturing Industries
Inc., a quality precision sheet
metal fabrication company, had
established themselves as a solid
manufacturer of superior prod-
ucts for a number of industries;
however, they lacked the image
and marketing tools necessary to
properly communicate their capa-
bilities which fueled their decision
to hire our firm.
We quickly worked to rejuvenate
their image by introducing a bold
new corporate identity, corporate
literature and industry targeted

firm with an impressive list of
clients found themselves facing

new revenue. The company was
virtually unknown to most of the

IEG suffered from dated market-
ing tools, minimal internet pres-
ence, no formal marketing plan
and no one trained to sell their
services... We changed all that.
We reinvigorated the company

30’s, Goldak is a true pioneer in
their field. Over the years, their
weak corporate identity and lack
of marketing communications

breathe new life into their prod-
uct line and create a corporate
identity and marketing strategy

A high-volume production
machining and manufacturing
firm was thirteen years old when
we originally began working with
them. Although initially reluctant
to incur the costs and resources
involved with a change in their
corporate identity, they ultimately
decided to hire our firm.
We created and implemented a
bold and exciting new corporate
identity campaign, both off and
on-line including a re-designed
logo and a focus on communica-
tions with their current customer
base and small prospective
marketplace.
Sales and marketing support
materials, plant signage and
lobby redesign followed. In
the following four years Aztec
realized sales growth upwards
of 60%.
Frances Lopez, founder and

UNIVERSITY OF TOYOTA…
The University of Toyota had
previously tapped our organiza-
tion for multiple internet applica-
tion projects. Their desire to
utilize our design capabilities
made this project possible.
We were assigned the task of
creating new branding and
course and support materials for
the School of Retail Professional
Development organization.
A new ‘look and feel’ was creat-
ed, as well as course catalogs,
promotional brochure/materials
and individual course data
sheets to round out the package.
A corporate intra-net site was
created and the new branding
was used to tie the group and
materials together. The group
continues to utilize and expand
on these materials and branding,
created by MarketShare West.

What we did…
BT INDUSTRIAL…
A family-owned industrial sup-
plies company serving the film
and manufacturing industry in
Los Angeles for over 50 years
was suffering from a corporate
malaise, an ineffective and at
times, non-existent new business
development activity.
Working with the principals at
B&T we successfully created and
implemented a bold new corpo-
rate identity including a name
adjustment from: B&T Industrial
to BT Industrial.
A re-introduction to their market-
place proceeded. Armed with
a line of strong direct sales and
marketing materials, a com-
merce-enabled website and a
new business development
campaign including tele- and
direct marketing support.
BT’s Sales have continued to
increase since first implementing
the program. Most importantly
of all, they now have a renewed
sense of corporate worth, a
revitalized staff and a vision and
direction that they had been

What we did…
LEXUS COLLEGE…
Lexus College, originally part
of the University of Toyota,
became an entity of its own in
early 2003. We were brought
in to create the very first set
of course materials the organi-
zation would use to communi-
cate their organization and
curriculum.
As branding was non-existent
when we began, our task
included creating an overall
‘look and feel’ that would best
represent this finely tuned
and prestigious learning
organization.
The project included developing
University branding and the
creation and production of
course catalogs, promotional
brochure/materials and individ-
ual course data sheets. Lexus
College continues to utilize and
build on this initial branding in
other areas of their organization.

What we did…
RAPID PROTOTYPE…
A start-up/new business unit in a
family of companies that provide
services to the machining and
manufacturing industry.
With millions invested in cutting-
edge technology and equipment,
yet new to the arena of high-
tech and sophisticated rapid
prototype services, it was impor-
tant to look the role of a strong
and experienced organization.
The aim was to communicate
them as the market leader at the
top of their field and not the
start-up organization that they
really were. A bold and dynamic
corporate identity was imple-
mented as well as a complete
line of instructional and corporate
image and capabilities materials.
Their strong corporate identity
could be felt in their trade show
materials, online presence
and in their sales presentations
as well.

GLASS DOCTOR…
With solid roots in residential
glass services, Glass Doctor®
National held a solid reputation
for providing quality products and
professional workmanship. Their
desire to build a substantial com-
mercial business was hampered
by their limited communication
materials that could speak to their
experience in this area. That’s
where we came in.
We first created a dynamic com-
mercial brand that complimented
their existing corporate brand/
image. We then designed a full
line of targeted communication
materials along with a strong
commercial website that further
spoke to their expertise as a
commercial partner. Finally, our
SalesSERV Direct™ new business
development program helped to
build new commercial relation-
ships one-at-a-time.

B&W INDUSTRIAL…
A top-quality distributor of indus-
trial supplies to commercial and
industrial clients for over 25
years. They attributed their suc-
cess to their ability to change
with the times, as well as antici-
pate the needs of their cus-
tomers. What they needed help
with was their overall marketing
strategy-that’s where we came in.
Their corporate logo was solid,
but their communications materi-
als were lacking and their website
was in need of rejuvenation. Our
first task was to help innovate
and better communicate their
valuable but under sold VMI pro-
gram. An exciting new program
identity, bold capability literature
and dedicated micro-site help set
B&W’s VMI program apart from
their competitors.
