A recent analytical study conducted by leading 1:1 expert, Dr. Andrew Zucker, concluded: “The school has a compelling vision of how laptops can contribute to students’ and teachers’ work.” (http://slidesha.re/eQ6aA2) <br />Collaborated in the development & led the implementation of a three-layer technology foundation of DSST’s success: a) tech based rapid & accurate assessment; b) custom database providing high cultural accountability; c) high levels of communication. Zucker reports:<br />o “The laptops themselves… are part of a complex, interconnected web of devices, networks, activities, and goals whose purpose is to support the school community’s efforts to carry out its ambitious mission. Laptops do not stand alone. It is the support system, the school goals, the digital resources… that enable the laptops to be used as powerful  tools.
