This Letter of Reference is to provide my personal view of the Leadership capabilities of Miss
Marina Popovic in her capacity as Oriflame Cosmetics Consultant.
Since Oriflame is a Swedish cosmetics direct sales company, Miss Popovic has joined us in
October 2000 as an independent Consultant engaged in promoting the company and its
products through networking with a variety of different people throughout Serbia and
ii4ontenegro. In order to do so, Miss Popovic at the initial phase had to undertake several
trainings and meetings in order to learn the essentials of our business in terms of products and
working with people.
Since we work as direct sales company, the task of our Consultants consists of presenting the
company and its two business concepts - products and eaming opportunity to great number of
p.opt. in the country. Miss Popovic has shown a high level of ambition and commitment to
itu.t n.. career with Oriflame in the right way from the very beginning. Her task was anci is to
travel throughout the country and meet various people through home presentations, bigger
meetings or lurg. public presentations. By doing so, she has expressed a great sense for
p..r"ntlution ofiompany;s concept as well as remarkable trust building with all the people she
io-., across. Her role is after initial sharing of information, to act as Leader to a number of
people in her network (all the people that have as well joined Oriflame as Consultants) in
brder to provide them proper guidance and support in their activities.
Miss Popovic has managed to attract a remarkable number of people to join Oriflame, and by
doing so she has managed to reach a Director title in May 2003, which entitles her to be a part
of the Leaders Group ut O.iflu-. which consists of only cca. 200 people (out of the total
50,000 Consultants). By being a Director at Oriflame, Miss Popovic actively participates in
all the meetings with the Management of Oriflame (both local and regional level
management) in which we discuss all the business issues and agree on the future steps of the
"o1npuny.
In such way, Oriflame values allthe input received from our Directors as they
present ih"

in the field, and I have to add that Miss Popovic has always shown her
iedication to thi business by providing the company with valid information from the field as
well as with some great ideas of how to improve our day to day business and activities. On the
other side, all the people that have joined the network of Miss Popovic have shared with us at
Oriflame their full dedication to Miss Popovic and her work as she has proved to be a
trustworlhy Leader always taking care of her Consultants activities, by motivating them in the
right mom-ent, and setting an example for all of them by the way she conducts her business.
