Dr.-Eng. Marcos Nieto was awarded his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering by the ETSIT (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación) at the Madrid Polytechnic University (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid - UPM). From 2005 to 2010 he held the position of Researcher in the UPM Image Processing Research group concentrating on the field of H.264/AVC video codecs and Computer Vision applied to advanced driver assistance systems.
