   “OVERALL MARKETING STRATEGY AND
        DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL OF
           IFFCO FERTILIZERS”

     AT IFFCO PHULPUR, ALLAHABAD.

PHULPUR UNIT, ALLAHABAD
   To find out whether fertilizer are being
    supplied in the time insufficient quantity to
    the distributers.

   To asses distributers coop rations level in
    term of stock maintenance.

   To find out the consumer awareness about
    IFFCO product and their selection preference.
   Simple random sampling a simple random
    sampling is a subset of individual (a sample)
    chosen from a larger set (a population). Each
    individual is chosen randomly an entirely by
    chance, such that each individual has the
    some probability of being chosen at any
    stage during the sampling process, and each
    subset of k individuals has some probability
    of being chosen for the sample as any other
    subset of k individuals.
RESEARCH DESIGN
 The research design used in this report is –
  ”DISCRIPTIVE RESEARCH DESIGN.”

           SAMPLING TECHNIQUES
   The method used for sampling is Simple
    Random Sampling.

                  SAMPLE SIZE
   In this study 50 farmers & 10 co-operative
    societies, were taken in to consideration.

• The questionnaire was designed &
  structured in the form of multiple choice.

• I have also used the statistical tools to
  collect the data such as- Table, Graphs &
  Pie Chart.

    The IFFCO has produce 90% of urea fertilizers and 10% dap/npk
    fertilizers.

  In this survey report the cooperative society member said that they
  getting the supply of IFFCO fertilizers in 60 & 80% on demand.

  In this chat the 40% cooperative society members said they will get the
  supply of the fertilizers before time & 52% members said they received
  on time delivery and other 8% said that the can get the fertilizers after
  the time.

     Maximum number of farmers said that the quality of the IFFCO
     fertilizers are same as the competitor products.
    The farmers are waiting for a particular brand of
    fertilizers.

   Most of the farmers are selecting the fertilizers a
    brand basis and second major criteria to select
    the fertilizers availability.

   farmers meetings and other Promotional
    programs were organized by IFFCO.

   I found that farmers are satisfied with the IFFCO
    fertilizers even in UN adopted villages
   IFFCO should help in farming new
    cooperatives societies so as to increase sales
    of IFFCO fertilizers.

   IFFCO also adopts direct supply system to
    provide fertilizes to farmers.

   In directly supply system IFFCO should give
    facilities of credit for selling the fertilizers.

   Price of urea should be reasonable and easy
    mode of payment should design.

IFFCO Marketing Strategy and Distribution Channels

  • 3. To find out whether fertilizer are being supplied in the time insufficient quantity to the distributers.  To asses distributers coop rations level in term of stock maintenance.  To find out the consumer awareness about IFFCO product and their selection preference.
  • 4. Simple random sampling a simple random sampling is a subset of individual (a sample) chosen from a larger set (a population). Each individual is chosen randomly an entirely by chance, such that each individual has the some probability of being chosen at any stage during the sampling process, and each subset of k individuals has some probability of being chosen for the sample as any other subset of k individuals.
  • 5. RESEARCH DESIGN  The research design used in this report is – ”DISCRIPTIVE RESEARCH DESIGN.” SAMPLING TECHNIQUES  The method used for sampling is Simple Random Sampling. SAMPLE SIZE  In this study 50 farmers & 10 co-operative societies, were taken in to consideration.

  • 8. DATA COLLECTION TOOLS • The questionnaire was designed & structured in the form of multiple choice. • I have also used the statistical tools to collect the data such as- Table, Graphs & Pie Chart.

The farmers are waiting for a particular brand of fertilizers.  Most of the farmers are selecting the fertilizers a brand basis and second major criteria to select the fertilizers availability.  farmers meetings and other Promotional programs were organized by IFFCO.  I found that farmers are satisfied with the IFFCO fertilizers even in UN adopted villages
  • 18. IFFCO should help in farming new cooperatives societies so as to increase sales of IFFCO fertilizers.  IFFCO also adopts direct supply system to provide fertilizes to farmers.  In directly supply system IFFCO should give facilities of credit for selling the fertilizers.  Price of urea should be reasonable and easy mode of payment should design.
