30. Current Scenario of PQC Sealant in India
In the past all Indian codes specified sealing compound as per BS 4254
Now IRC, NHAI, All Airports started using sealing compound as per the BS
5212 part II, 1990 since last 2 years.
Few points which are considered to be very important for the durability
point of view & are missing in BS 5212 specification, but the same are
available in BS 4254, PPM 400, EN 141875 & ASTM C 920.
