This document provides information about the towns of Eltville and Kiedrich in the Rheingau region of Germany. Eltville is known as the "city of roses" and has large rose gardens. It is also famous for its vineyards, which surround the city. During Christmas time, the city holds events for children and houses are decorated. Kiedrich is home to the Kloster Eberbach monastery and Basilica Minor church. Both towns are in a scenic region known for its vineyards and wine production.

 There´s a garden, which is full
of those beautiful flowers –
and it´s really big !
 In summer it´s great to go
there with friends or family,
just for viewing the wonderful
area.

 Eltville is famous for its vineyards,
like lots of towns and villages in
the Rheingau.
 If you walk a few minutes from the
centre of town, you´ll probably be
able to see them – it´s like they´re
almost everywhere.

10. Christmas in Eltville
 Of course, we celebrate Christmas in
Eltville, too.
 All the people decorate their houses
in Christmas-time.
 There are lots of events for little
children, for example the big advent
calendar, which shows nice pictures
in the windows of an old house.
