A critical communication tool necessary
to accurately communicate by actively
demonstrating respect for others.
It is important for me to listen to the needs
of what employees have to say.
5. EMPATHETIC
The ability to mentally project one’s own
consciousness into that of another individual.
It is important for me to empathize with
employees in an attempt to understand what
they are wanting or needing.
6. HEALING
Healing is to make whole.
I need to be able to make the entire
organization whole as this will help me
to better understand the goings on in
the organization.
7. AWARENESS
Without awareness, I would miss leadership
opportunities.
I need to be aware of what is going on in
the organization along with being aware
of any sensitive issues that there may be.
8. PERSUASIVE
An effective leader builds group consensus
through gentle but clear and persistent
persuasion, and does not exert group
compliance through the position of power.
I need to be able to persuade the organization
as a way to make decisions and be an
authority figure.
9. CONCEPTUALIZATION
An effective leader has the ability to
conceive solutions to problems that do not
currently exist.
I need to plan for the future and have a
vision and goals for what the future may
hold.
10. FORESIGHT
Prescience or foresight is a better than average guess
about what is going to happen in the future.
I have the innate ability to see what could be a likely
outcome for a situation that may have occurred
before in the past, as well as anticipate the realities of
the present and any unseen consequences of the
future.
11. STEWARDSHIP
Organizational stewards are concerned not only for
the individual followers within the group, but also the
organization as a whole and its impact on a
relationship with all society.
I will hold the main goal of the organization above my
own personal goals.
12. COMMITMENT
Commitment to the growth of people as seen as a
demonstrated appreciation and encouragement of
others.
I will dedicate ample time and energy to the overall
well being of the employees of the organization as
well as to the board of education and community.

The rise of large institutions has eroded our sense of
community, this is the social pact that reunites
