Domestic Violence                  Against Women And Girls Women and children are often in great danger in the place where they should be safest: within their families. For many, ‘home’ is where they face a regime of terror and violence at the hands of somebody close to them – somebody they should be able to trust.
Domestic Violence                                                      Against Women And Girls    The United Nations Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women (1993) defines violence against women as “ any act of gender-based violence that results in, or is likely to result in, physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such act, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in pubic or in private life.”
Domestic Violence                  Against Women And Girls Violence against women is often a cycle of abuse that manifests itself in many forms throughout their lives.
