2. Stratton Mountain School is an
exciting place to learn, compete and
grow. Our community of students,
teachers and coaches work in
harmony towards common goals:
excellence in college preparatory
academics and winter sports, and the
development of strong personal
values.

3. Stratton Mountain School was established
in 1972. Warren Hellman and Donald
Tarinelli founded the school in order for
their own children to train and compete in
high level alpine skiing without
interrupting their high school education.
Elite coaches and excellent teachers were
recruited to join in the new program, and
parents provided the housing.

4. The events in SMS are : Winter brings
parties and races, snowshoe hikes,
snowmobile tours, snow tubing, fireworks
and the other events..Here's just a sample
of the activities: hiking, biking, kayak
rentals, golf and tennis. Yoga and
wellness. Skiing and snowboarding, cross-
country trails, family activities.

5. At my school want change many
things; I would have more activities
outdoor sports that have more fun
and joy, that had best soccer fields
and tennis and to paint the school
another color.
