Media Markt History
• Media Markt is a German chain of stores selling electronics
products with numerous branches throughout Europe.
• It is Europe's largest retailer of consumer electronics.
• The first store opened on 29 November 1979 in Munich.
• Today, it is owned by Media Saturn Holding, which also owns the
Saturn chain, which runs very similar stores.
• After Germany, the company located in Austria, Italy, Switzerland,
Hungary, Poland, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Greece,
Sweden, Russia, China, and Turkey.
• Media Markt's main slogan "Ich bin doch nicht blöd" (I am not stupid)
The make management
•Media Markt announcess with a lot of time.
•The days before they give to the people a lot of
advertisements.
•When Media Markt opens many people know of had
heard about it and have a perception of a “european
gigant” with very cheaper prices.

Advertisement
• Media Markt is a chain of stores which tries to sell electronic
products by using differnt ways of publicity:
1. Media markt inverts lots of money in TV advertisements.
2. Also it uses many types of billboards.
3. Media markt makes us to remember them by using slogans, the
most famous: “I am not stupid”
4. This advertisements always shows us deals of products calling
our attention by: shouting (at TV), hiring famous people, giving us
low prices (maybe the products are not the best ones)…
Analysing the model
• Media Markt is a store which is mostly accessible for lots of
countries of Asia and Europe. In Spain, they are over 58 Media
Markt stores, lots of people have a close one.
• Many people aspire to get some of the variety of electronic products
Media Markt has.
• Some people could not have them because they are expensive.
Even though Media Markt attract people with low prices, people see
the best and most expensive products and want to buy them.
• Like in other examples of advertisement, people can have problems
caused by the pressure to be strong consumers.
Personal Conclusion
• In my opinion, we need to have lot of care with these
advertisements, they try to attract us with great products but they
could be cheating us to give them our money. We have choose
Media Markt because is a good example of a store that gets our
attention by many ways to buy their products.

• My opinion is that Media Markt put the expensives precies, and then
they announce a lot of deals to keep the attention of the people, and
use the phrase “I am not stupid” to keep the silly people´s attention
and say them to buy it.
