2. MEDELLIN RIVER
The Medellín river or river is a river Aburrá
crossing the Colombian city of Medellin and
the metropolitan area. Born at 3100 m in the
Alto de San Miguel, in the municipality of
Caldas, south of the Aburrá Valley, and 100
miles later, with the name of Porce

Public University of Antioquia. On the left side is the Cerro
Nutibara, the La Macarena bullring, Pilot Public
Library, National University of Colombia at
Medellin, subway stations, among other attractions. At the
height of Barranquilla Street Bridge is the Training and
Information Center Environmental Medellín, an entity that
is part of the Ministry of Environment of the Municipality of
Medellín, who in turn, through the Secretary of Metrorio
works remediation of the river basin.

8. PROBLEMS WITH THE COLOR OF THE RIVER
An intense blue color was seen on Saturday afternoon in the
Medellín River, south of the Aburrá Valley, which was

10. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS IN MEDELLIN
In 1955, when Medellin Public Enterprises barely consolidated as an
institution, was born on Christmas lights. For the holiday season, part of the city
is adorned with lights timidly special materials thanks to the contributions of
private enterprise, the authorities and to the press. The people of the Bella Villa

12. MONOGRAPH MEDELLIN RIVER
The city of Medellín is divided in two by the Medellín
River, this river has a length of 100 kilometers from its
source to its transformation in the Porce River. Since its

physical area, where surface and ground waters
are discharged into a natural network using one or
more channels of continuous or intermittent
flow, which converge in a major river in a natural
reservoir of water , or directly into the sea, which
can be considered as a drainage system. The
watershed consists of the following parts: training
area or water producing zone formed by the upper
parts of the dump montañas .Area formed by the
middle parts of the mountains, hills or mountains.
