1. PUCD – This is the name of a group of Language Teachers from public schools who
took place in a course called REFLEXÃO SOBRE A AÇÃO- O PROFESSOR DE INGLÊS
APRENDENDO E ENSINANDO”, a programme which is totally sponsored by
Sociedade Brasileira da Cultura Inglesa in partnership with PUCSP. These
teachers have decided to keep their studies after the end of the course and
regard the course contribution to their professional growth of paramount
relevance.
Sharing the need of keeping teaching and learning, the group remained together
since July/2003 and have received new participants who joined a work which has
been considered utopic since it is a voluntary work carried on by devoted
teachers who love their job, education and believe in opportunities to develop a
high level quality of teaching.
Our monthly meetings are dedicated to theory study, creation of teaching
material and reflection about our teaching practice. We strongly believe that
these meetings highly contribute to a positive change in our teaching reality.
We are supported by Ms Liziksa Goldchleger, the Academic Manager of Cultura
Inglesa and Prof. Dr. Maria Antonieta Alba Celani from Post Graduation Studies
Programme Department – PUCSP who have greatly stimulated us so far.
