23. In an effort to make our school safer, the Van Buren
School District has added an electronic entry system to
the front entrance of Northridge Middle School.
Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29th, the front
entrance at Northridge Middle School will be locked at
8:15 a.m. and all students and visitors will be required
to “buzz-in” using the intercom system located on the
wall next to the left set of entrance doors.
This system has been put in place to help ensure the
safety of our students. I appreciate all your effort in
helping make Northridge Middle School safer.

35. MANDATORY Parent Meeting for Tryouts: Sunday, March
9th , at 2:00 pm at the VBHS ARENA. All tryout questions
will be answered at the meeting. If for any reason, you are
not able to make it to the parent meeting, you must make
arrangements with Mrs. Pixley @ lpixley@vbsd.us PRIOR to
the parent meeting to be eligible for tryouts.

If any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade boy or girl would like to
play on the NRMS tennis team, please come and get
an information sheet with the requirements to
participate on the tennis team for Northridge Middle
School either in the office or in Mrs. Robinson’s or
Mrs. Owens’s room. You must have this sheet signed
by you, your parents, and brought back to one of the
2 teachers mentioned by Thursday, March 6th. The
mandatory clinics for the NRMS tennis team will be
the week of March 10th from 3:30 – 5:00, and you
must be present everyday unless approved otherwise
