2. ersephone was the daughter of Demeter the god of Earth . One day Persephone was in the forest and the ground opened and Pluto came and kidnapped her .

3. hen Demeter called Persephone, she wasn´t there and Demeter became sad and the leaves fell. Weeks later all the ground was white.

4. eus saw that and sent Hermes to rescue her. Hermes went to the underworld and rescued Persephone but Pluto said that if she ate a simple thing she would make stay in the underworld. But she ate a little thing. So Persephone saw Demeter so sad that she asked him to leave her underworld for half of the year .

5. hen Persephone came to her house the grass grow and when she stays there the summer came .
