• When we begin to count coins, we will start
by counting all of the same coins.
• Then we will practice adding two types of
coins and changing our counting habits.
• Let’s start with dimes!

• When you count two different types of coins,
start by counting the LARGER value first.
• Continue your counting with the remaining
coin value.
