In Silicon Valley, and possibly in the world, a few communities recognize Dr. Liwei Ren as a mathematician, a data security expert, an entrepreneur, or all of them. Liwei has a few measurable achievements: (a) 10+ academic papers in mathematics (b) 27 US patents granted in differential compression, DLP and etc (c) 1 data security start-up (as a co-founder) with successful exit. He is a frequent speaker for both academic and technical communities.
