What is screen-less display?
Screen-less display is the present evolving technology in the field of the computer-enhanced technologies.
It is going to be the one of the greatest technological development in the future years.
Several patents are still working on this new emerging technology which can change the whole spectacular view
of the screen-less displays.
Screen-less display technology has the main aim of displaying (or) transmitting the information without any help
of the screen (or) the projector.
Screen-less videos describe systems for transmitting visual information from a video source without the use of
the screen.

3. First screen-less display
The first screen-less display that needs mentioning is
Google Glass.
Google Glass sits on the face like a pair of glasses, and
on one eye it has a block of glass that allows you to see
augmented reality.
Images can be displayed right in front of your eye, as
well as text and information about objects and places
that are in front of you.
This technology is only in its early stages, but definitely
shows that screen-less displays will become a natural
form of media consumption in the future.

6. The sixth sense technology
It is a wearable gestural interface that augments the physical
world around us with digital information and lets us use natural
hand gestures to interact with that information.
In this technology user is able to interact with a three
dimensional image projected into thin air. Imagine your
desktop floating in the space before your eyes waiting for your
interaction!
7. The number of ways it is done
Visual image display
This kind of display usually requires a medium for the deflection of light; light is always deflected before
reaching a person’s eye. One example of this display is a hologram. Hologram is the latest form of
photography which consists of Lasers, lenses, mirrors, objects and Holographic films; when an object
and a laser beam interface, they create an illusion of a 3D image. Another example is the virtual reality
goggles.
If use air as medium, images projected threw air molecules. These images are not limited to being just
seen indoors but outdoors as well. However the image quality is affected if it is windy or rainy or
especially sunny outside. For indoors use you can use controlled lighting to make the image appear
better. You wouldn’t feel anything but air blowing from the projector.
8. Synaptic Interface
This type of display does not use light at all. Instead, the information is directly sent to the brain. This
technology is the most advanced of all and is still under great development. Synaptic Interface has not
been tested on humans yet but scientists are of the view that it will prove extremely helpful especially
in the case of blind people.
9. Retinal display
Retina Display aims at projecting the image directly onto a person’s retina. In this type of display, light is
not deflected, rather it is projected directly onto the retina and thus, only authorized personnel are able to
see the information. This display can be extremely helpful in maintaining the privacy and security of the
contents. A person can even control the intensity of display through his voice. With this technology
available in the market, you can even work in a café without having to worry about other people around
you.
10. Advantages
