Researcher at Networked Multimedia Information Systems (NeMIS) Laboratory of the Institute of Information Science and Technologies - Italian National Research Council (ISTI - CNR). He graduated in Computer Science in 2001 at University of Pisa and completed a PhD in Information Engineering in 2006 at University of Pisa. In 2001 he joined the NeMIS Laboratory of the ISTI-CNR. He was involved in a series of EU funded projects includind CYCLADES, Open Archives Forum, DELOS, DILIGENT, DRIVER, D4Science, D4Science-II and DL.org.
