This study is important for the knowledge that we need to have about tha autism and the genomic.

RESEARCHERS REVEAL FIRST AUTISM CANDIDATE GENE THAT DEMONSTRATES SENSITIVITY TO SEX HORMONES Researchers have found that male and female sex hormones regulate expression of an important gene in neuronal cell, and the researchers said a mechanism that could explain not only higher levels of testosterone observed in some individuals with autism .

[object Object],In conclusion The researchers believe that females may be more protected against RORA deficiency by positive effect of estrogen on RORA expression, but also because estrogen receptors, which regulate a same genes. This is the explanation of why males have a higher tendency for autism than females.

This knowledge is necessary for the creation of new medications and new forms of diagnosis
