● Non-profit Caritas serves Beloit & Rock County families
● Caring for neighbors in need for 40+ years
● Distributed 18,589 diapers since bank opened July 2016
● Sought diapers & donations of clothing up to size 4T
● Wanted new or gently-used toys and books

5. Diaper Bank Opportunity
● 202,120 Wisconsinites are under age of 3
● 19% Wisconsin babies in low-income families
● Beloit unemployment higher than most of the state
● 44% Beloit’s homes led by single moms in poverty
● 66% Beloit’s single moms receive food stamps
● Wider gender wage gap in Beloit than Wisconsin
● Most working parents rely on child care
● Child care won’t take kids without diapers
● Disposable diapers cost $80/month/child
● Food stamps cannot be used for diapers
