2. When did the depression happen? The depression started in 1929, when the stock prices fell. In the 1920’s, people where buying cars, appliances and clothing. Because of this, people were spending money that they didn’t have.

4. Stock market in US started to go down on September 4th 1929, but on October 29th (black Tuesday) it crashed, starting the great depression

7. People stopped spending, all businesses cut back workers hours or sacked them all together Due to debt and overcropping, farmers couldn't grow food and went bankrupt
